All our varied relationships

Navigating all our varied relationships can be both rewarding and challenging. Hypnotherapy can offer time and space to reflect on our behavioral patterns and develop strategies to reprioritize what matters most to us and change how we manage others and ourselves.

Hypnotherapy sessions can be used to act as a safe rehearsal space to change behaviors within relationships, especially by developing mindful assertive communication skills and role play practice through enacting scenarios in one’s mind’s eye under hypnosis with the therapist.

Session outline

  • Agree SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) therapeutic goals and desired outcomes
  • Explore relationship issues, including the positives, challenges, compromises and current relating styles.
  • Develop new strategies and plans for relating to others mindfully, respectfully from a position of shared agreed rights
  • Focus on future relationship priorities, perspectives and healthy, flexible boundaries.

Disclaimer

I am not a trained couple’s counselor; however, a detached impartial outsider and therapist can help a client reflect on their relationship state of play and what they are doing to themselves and their loved ones, for better or worse.
